GREETINGS & APA KA DABAR, mentioned by a Dutch student....(should be APA KHABAR)!
Orientation week is OVER! Made lots of new friends...local and foreign! AEI Intake 2008/2009 consists of the normal cross section of any group........vociferous and smart alecs, shy ones to limelight hoggers and an idiot or two...OOOPS...Jokers! Host country students seemed to be more reserved when they should be taking the lead.....maybe their "reservedness" is due to the fasting month whilst overseas students seemed to be in "observation" mode before stamping their mark!
Europe's representatives consists of Dutch, Italian and German nationalities whilst ASIA is fairly represented by the Indonesian, Japanese, Indian, Cambodian and of course Host Country...MALAYSIA
After going through a few universities' orientation programme, AEI's is the best structured and well organised thus far. The main library briefing was the most hilarious & informative library briefing attended by me.....and you learn something new every day i.e. CARREL ROOM
Only comments - AEI should have bigger Shirt sizes & Internet speed at AEI MUST be improved...SOON.
MOST CLASSES START ON MONDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2008.
~ As Dr. Hamidin states.....first 2 weeks is the honeymoon period. After that, you'll be walking with your head's slightly down...WE SHALL SEE SOON ENOUGH DR. HAMIDIN
